&lt;p&gt;According to a spokesperson for Lahore Police, a police team conducted a wide-ranging operation, arresting three suspects and seizing 11,500 kites from their possession.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a separate action, the Islampura police arrested three suspects and recovered 5,700 kites along with 110 reels.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Police said the suspects were attempting to supply kites and banned kite strings to the city under the guise of transporting household goods.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Vehicles being used by the suspects were also taken into custody, and cases have been registered against them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Police officials stated that the recovered items are worth millions of rupees, adding that operations against the sale and distribution of kites and prohibited materials will continue across the city.&lt;/p&gt;
