Authorities have warned that the road may be closed again if conditions worsen or traffic pressure increases, according to the Motorway Police spokesperson.

The spokesperson said traffic is being managed with the best possible strategy in line with the prevailing situation.

However, changing weather patterns and a growing rush towards Murree could lead to another closure of the expressway.

The public has been advised to avoid unnecessary travel to Murree and the surrounding areas.

The Motorway Police also warned that more rain and snowfall are expected in Murree and Galiyat on January 26 and 27, which could further affect road conditions.
