&lt;p&gt;The earthquake was also felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Azad Kashmir, and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the seismological centre, the quake measured 5.8 on the Richter scale.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The epicentre was located in a hilly area of northwestern Kashmir, about 10 kilometres underground.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;People across affected areas experienced fear as the tremors shook buildings and caused minor landslides in mountainous regions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorities and residents were inspecting affected areas and clearing rocks from blocked roads.&lt;/p&gt;
