      <title>HBL PSL 11 set to begin on March 26 as new teams join the league</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The governing council of the HBL Pakistan Super League met at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on Friday, with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in the chair.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The meeting was attended by representatives of all eight HBL PSL franchises, besides PCB and PSL officials, says a statement of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During the meeting, the PCB chairman and all participants congratulated and welcomed the new team owners of Sialkot and Hyderabad to the HBL PSL family.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The PCB chairman and the HBL PSL organising team were also congratulated on the successful conduct of the new teams auction, which reflected the growth and evolution of the league. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various matters, including the schedule of the HBL PSL 11, player retentions, adoption of the player auction or a unique combination of auction and draft termed as &lt;em&gt;‘drauction’&lt;/em&gt; and the option of opening direct signings.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It was decided that the HBL PSL 11 will kick off on March 26 as the fans, players and stakeholders look forward to entering the &lt;em&gt;new era&lt;/em&gt; of the league.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The meeting was adjourned with the constitution of a working group to deliberate further on agenda items.&lt;/p&gt;
