      <title>Islamabad court issues non-bailable arrest warrants for KP CM</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;A district and sessions court in Islamabad on Saturday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi after he failed to appear in a case involving misleading accusations against state institutions and damage to their credibility.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah heard the case and ordered Afridi’s arrest and production before the court. The hearing was adjourned until January 17.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The case against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister has been registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Under the court’s orders, all relevant authorities are bound to locate and produce Sohail Afridi before the court.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Further proceedings, including compliance with the arrest warrants, will be taken up at the next hearing.&lt;/p&gt;
