During the visit, CM Afridi is expected to hold meetings with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, parliamentarians and party ticket holders.

A press conference at the Punjab Assembly is also planned.

Sources said the chief minister will stay at Abdalain Society in Johar Town.

He is likely to visit Zaman Park, Liberty and GPO Chowk. Visits to the residences of Parvez Elahi, Mahmoodur Rashid, Ejaz Chaudhry and Hammad Azhar are also expected.

CM Afridi is likely to meet former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi at Kot Lakhpat Jail, sources said.

He will also visit the Punjab Assembly, where he is expected to meet PTI lawmakers and address a press conference.

On December 27, the chief minister is scheduled to address lawyers at the Lahore High Court. He is expected to return to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on December 28.

Officials said the schedule remains subject to change.
