Cristiano Ronaldo buys luxury villas at Red Sea’s Nujuma resort

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodríguez have purchased two luxury villas at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve within the Red Sea International development, media reports said.

The villas, part of the Red Sea Residences, are located on private islands about 26 kilometres from the mainland and can only be reached by boat or seaplane.

Nujuma features 19 fully independent villas designed to provide privacy, exclusivity, and a close connection to nature.

Ronaldo described the destination as “truly exceptional in every sense of the word,” adding that he and Georgina felt an immediate connection with the island’s natural beauty.

The couple acquired a three-bedroom villa for family use and a two-bedroom villa, making them among the earliest owners at the resort.

The properties offer complete privacy and comfort whenever they visit.

John Pagano, CEO of Red Sea International, said Ronaldo’s purchase highlights the destination’s unique blend of luxury, nature, privacy, and adventure.

Nujuma and other Red Sea and AMAALA destinations are entirely powered by renewable energy and aim to achieve a net positive environmental impact of 30% by 2040 through initiatives such as enriching coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds, and native habitats.

The Red Sea project now accommodates visitors in nine upscale hotels, while Shura Island is set to launch the first of 11 envisioned resorts, featuring a championship golf course, restaurants, shopping, and cultural amenities

Red Sea International Airport connects directly to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Doha, and Milan, placing the destination within three hours for 250 million people and eight hours for 85% of the world’s population.

Nujuma is positioned as a private retreat for celebrities and couples seeking discretion, luxury, and a sustainable connection to nature.
