&lt;p&gt;She had been undergoing treatment at a local hospital in London and was unable to speak due to the severity of her illness, according to family sources.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leader Faisal Sabzwari expressed deep sorrow over her death, offering condolences to the bereaved family.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a statement, he prayed for her forgiveness and asked for strength for her two sons to bear the loss.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Referring to the family’s prolonged suffering following Dr Imran Farooq’s assassination, Sabzwari said the household has endured repeated tragedies over the years.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He added that the pain he witnessed during his last meeting with Shumaila Farooq was beyond words.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sources said Shumaila Farooq will be laid to rest in Karachi in accordance with her wishes.&lt;/p&gt;
