Investigators have identified the terrorist network involved in last month’s suicide attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters in Peshawar.

According to investigative authorities, the suicide attackers were affiliated with a banned terrorist organisation.

The attackers had stayed in Peshawar for several days before the assault, using this time to familiarise themselves with the city’s routes.

Authorities said the attackers were provided with suicide jackets and accommodation, facilitating their operation.

Over 150 individuals have been questioned so far in connection with the attack, officials added.

Last month’s attack claimed the lives of three police personnel.

Sources said that investigations into the assault were ongoing to uncover further details about its operations and support structure within the city.
