Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will arrive in Lahore on December 7 for a three-day visit, during which he is expected to undertake major steps to reorganise the party’s structure across Punjab, sources said on Friday.

According to the sources, Bilawal will issue notifications for 63 new office-bearers as part of the party’s ongoing organisational revamp.

The Lahore chapter will also see fresh appointments, including the city president and other key positions, aimed at activating the provincial capital’s party structure.

During his stay, the PPP chairman is scheduled to hold meetings with the newly appointed office-bearers, party leaders, and workers.

Multiple interactions are expected at the Governor House, where Bilawal is likely to review party reorganisation plans and future political strategy.

The sources said that the party is also considering shifting Lahore’s organisational setup from a district-based model to a towns-level structure to improve grassroots engagement.

In view of the chairman’s visit, the Governor House has imposed a restriction on public meetings from Monday to Wednesday to facilitate arrangements, they added.
