According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first intelligence-based operation took place in the Mir Ali area, where security forces engaged the terrorists’ hideout. After intense gunfire, “six khawarij were sent to hell.”

Another intelligence-based operation was conducted in Spinwam. In the ensuing fire exchange, one more kharji terrorist was effectively neutralised by the security forces.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists, who had been involved in attacks on security forces, law enforcement agencies, and targeted killings of civilians.

Sanitisation operations are ongoing to locate and eliminate any remaining Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in the area.

The army vowed to continue a relentless counterterrorism campaign, along with law enforcement agencies, under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
