      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Retired Justice Yar Mohammad took oath as the Caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan on Wednesday in a simple but dignified ceremony held at the Governor House in Gilgit.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Governor Syed Mehdi Shah administered the oath. Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam attended the ceremony as a special guest, along with senior judges, political leaders, top civil administration officials and representatives of security agencies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Participants congratulated the newly sworn-in caretaker chief minister and expressed hope that he would perform his duties with integrity and transparency during the interim period.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Retired Justice Yar Mohammad, who hails from District Astore, will lead the interim administration until elections to the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly are held.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The transition follows Monday’s de-notification of all ministers, advisers, coordinators and special assistants to the chief minister.&lt;/p&gt;
