General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the outgoing Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), paid farewell calls to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday ahead of his retirement on November 27, 2025.

At the Presidential House, President Zardari lauded General Mirza’s professionalism and leadership, praising his services to national defence and wishing him well in his future endeavours.
