The prime minister, in separate statements, congratulated Babar Nawaz Khan of NA-18 (Haripur), Bilal Badar of NA-96, Daniyal Ahmed of NA-104, Ahmed Shehryar of PP-116, Tahir Pervaiz of PP-115, Azad Ali Tabassum of PP-98 of Faisalabad and Mian Sultan Ali Ranjha of PP-73 (Sargodha).

“The success in the by-elections is owing to the vision and unparalleled leadership of PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and the hard work of party workers. The victory also reflects the people’s trust in the untiring efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the development of the province’s people,” he remarked.

He said that the success of the PML-N candidates was a testament to the people’s confidence in the party’s spirit of public service and the government’s performance.

Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed the hope that the successful candidates would work tirelessly to serve the people to meet their expectations.
