      <title>Federal Constitutional Court to set up registries in all four provinces</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Federal Constitutional Court has decided to establish its registries in all four provinces as part of its structural transition.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Aamer Farooq stated that the court was currently in a transitional phase, during which provincial registries would be established to enhance access and efficiency.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He added that these registries would be connected to the court’s principal seat via video link.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The judge noted that video-link facilities would be available at all registries to streamline proceedings and reduce delays.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;&lt;a id="winter-break" href="#winter-break" class="heading-permalink" aria-hidden="true" title="Permalink"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Winter break&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Separately, the court issued a notification announcing its winter recess.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Federal Constitutional Court will remain on holiday from December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, its offices will remain open during this period to hear urgent and fixed cases.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The court is scheduled to reopen on January 5, 2026.
