<p>Unofficial results from 110 polling stations in PP-269 Muzaffargarh show Pakistan Peoples Party’s Alamdar Abbas Qureshi leading with 42,976 votes, while independent candidate Iqbal Khan Pitafi is in second place with 30,072 votes.</p>
<p>Early unofficial tallies from Sunday’s by-elections suggest the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has taken the lead in the majority of National and provincial constituencies.</p>
<p>The Pakistan Peoples Party, meanwhile, appears to hold an edge in only one provincial seat in Muzaffargarh.</p>
<p>Official final results will be announced once all votes are counted.</p>
<p>The Election Commission continues to monitor counting, and these results remain unofficial.
