The interdiction took place while the vessel was deployed on a Regional Maritime Security Patrol and supporting the Saudi-led Combined Task Force-150 under the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF).

Navy officials said the ship intercepted a suspicious, stateless dhow before boarding teams recovered the narcotics haul, valued at an estimated $130 million in the regional wholesale market.

The seizure is the third major interdiction by Pakistan Navy vessels in the past two months.

Officials said the string of operations underscores the Navy’s “enduring resolve” to curb illicit trafficking and highlights the effectiveness of multinational coordination under CMF.

The Navy said it remains committed to protecting national maritime interests, enforcing international maritime law, and contributing to global security efforts.
