      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday announced the schedule for the by-election for the vacant general seat of the Senate from Punjab, which became vacant following the death of Senator Irfan Siddiqui.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the schedule, candidates can submit their nomination papers on November 20 and 21, 2025.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on November 25. Appeals against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers can be filed by November 27.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Candidates will have the opportunity to withdraw their nominations until December 1.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Polling for the vacant Senate seat is scheduled for December 9 from 9am to 4pm at the Provincial Assembly Building in Punjab.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A spokesperson for the Provincial Election Commissioner of Punjab said strict compliance with the election schedule will be ensured.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The ECP notification also stated that the final list of candidates will be published on November 30, ahead of the polling day.&lt;/p&gt;
