The attacker had reportedly used an online bike ride service to reach the Islamabad courthouse.

In response, police and security agencies immediately launched investigations and action against unregistered bike riders operating in the twin cities.

Police have arrested the rider who transported the bomber from Golra to the courthouse for a fare of Rs200.

Officials said legal action will be taken against operators running unregistered or unauthorized online bike services.

In Rawalpindi, a survey of unregistered online bike riders has already begun, covering areas including RA Bazar, Naseerabad, Ganj Mandi, and the city centre.

Preliminary reports from the first day of the survey have been submitted to police authorities.

Authorities emphasised that the crackdown and mandatory registration aim to prevent the misuse of ride-sharing services for criminal or terrorist activities and to strengthen security in sensitive locations across both cities.
