According to officials, the attacker reached the courthouse using an online ride-sharing service.

Investigators traced and detained the driver, who reportedly took the bomber from Golra to the courts for a fare of Rs200.

Authorities said further investigation is underway to identify those who facilitated the bomber’s travel to Golra prior to the attack.

Meanwhile, the initial investigation into the blast has been completed.

Police have recorded statements of officers present at the scene and determined that the explosives used weighed between seven and eight kilograms.

Preliminary findings reveal that the bomber was a resident of Bajaur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who arrived in Islamabad on Friday and travelled from Pirwadhai to the G-11 courts on a motorcycle.

Officials confirmed that the attacker was acting alone and had wrapped himself in a shawl at the time of the explosion.

Forensic analysis and geo-fencing procedures have been completed, while one car and a motorcycle have been declared suspicious.

According to a spokesperson for the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), 10 of the 12 people martyred in the blast have been identified, while the identification of two victims remains pending.

Out of the 36 injured, 18 have been discharged after receiving medical treatment, while four of the remaining patients are in critical condition.
