&lt;p&gt;At the request of the chair, Syed Imran Ahmad Shah led the Fateha.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Senator Irfan Siddiqui passed away on Monday in Islamabad after a brief illness.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He was a renowned columnist, political commentator, and senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He also served as special assistant to the prime minister on national affairs and was the party’s parliamentary leader in the Senate.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Irfan Siddiqui’s funeral prayers will be offered today (Tuesday) at 4pm, and he will be laid to rest at the H-11 cemetery in Islamabad.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Meanwhile, political and social leaders have expressed sorrow over Irfan Siddiqui’s death.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed sorrow, saying Irfan Siddiqui was a key member of the PML-N and a close associate, whose contributions to the party will always be remembered.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;PML-N President Nawaz Sharif described Siddiqui’s passing as a great tragedy, calling him a loyal and trusted brother.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi prayed for Siddiqui’s soul and for strength and patience for his family.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti also expressed their sorrow, saying that Pakistan has lost a prominent and respected politician.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Governors of Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa offered condolences to the late senator’s family.&lt;/p&gt;
