      <title>Punjab to crack down on vehicles without green emission stickers</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Punjab government has announced a strict crackdown on vehicles operating without meeting emission standards across the province.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to Punjab Environmental Protection Department (EPA) spokesperson Sajid Bashir, from November 15 onwards, no vehicle will be allowed to enter motorways or city entry points without a valid green sticker.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The EPA has also issued a final fee schedule for vehicle emission inspections.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The paid vehicle emission testing programme began on November 10, and from now fee collection has been made mandatory.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Under the new schedule, the emission testing fees are as follows:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Motorcycles (Rs100), Rickshaws (Rs300), Cars (up to 1,000 cc Rs500), Cars (between 1,001 cc and 1,500 cc Rs800), Cars (between 1,501 cc and 2,500 cc Rs1,000), Cars (between 2,501 cc and 4,500 cc Rs1,500), Cars above 4,500 cc (Rs2,0000).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;He further stated that each officer will be issued a unique ID, which they will be personally responsible for using.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Detailed fee and payment information will be prominently displayed at all testing stations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any officer failing to comply with the instructions will face disciplinary action.&lt;/p&gt;
