      <title>Pakistan, Turkiye agree to deepen cooperation on regional, international issues</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pakistan and Turkiye on Saturday agreed to continue close coordination on regional and international matters of mutual concern, and to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the wider Muslim world.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The understanding was reached during a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Baku on the sidelines of Azerbaijan’s Victory Day Parade.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Chief of the Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, also attended the meeting.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The two leaders reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their resolve to further deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;PM Shehbaz appreciated the enthusiastic celebrations of Pak- Turkiye Friendship Week, describing them as a reflection of the deep-rooted and enduring ties between the two nations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to transforming longstanding fraternal relations into a broader partnership covering political, defence, economic, trade, investment, and people-to-people linkages.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It was also decided that a Turkish ministerial delegation will visit Pakistan in the near future to strengthen bilateral cooperation.&lt;/p&gt;
