      <title>Pakistan, Turkiye vow to deepen cooperation in security, economic ties</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepen cooperation with Turkiye in security, counterterrorism, counter-narcotics, police training, disaster management, and economic development.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He made these remarks during a meeting with Turkiye’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, who is currently on an official visit to Pakistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s House, was described as warm and cordial, reflecting the longstanding fraternal ties between the two countries.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The prime minister extended his greetings to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and praised Turkiye’s consistent support for Pakistan’s stance on key regional and international issues.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He also thanked the Turkish leadership for its constructive role in facilitating the ongoing peace talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Istanbul.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Yerlikaya said Turkiye valued its strategic partnership with Pakistan and looked forward to expanding cooperation through joint initiatives and institutional linkages.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The prime minister was assisted in the meeting by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of State for Interior, SAPM Tariq Fatemi, Chairman NDMA, Interior Secretary, and Foreign Secretary.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Both sides reaffirmed their resolve to strengthen the Pakistan-Turkiye partnership through practical cooperation and high-level exchanges aimed at promoting peace, stability, and shared prosperity in the region.&lt;/p&gt;
