Hamza Ali Abbasi: Even four marriages can’t fix infidelity

Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi opened up about adultery, marriage, and faith in his latest appearance on the YouTube show Lunch with Lillas, sparking fresh discussion on social media.

Abbasi said that remarriage or multiple marriages cannot “fix” infidelity, arguing that men must address their inner flaws instead of seeking new relationships.

“You can have four wives and still be unfaithful,” he said. “A man who marries only to satisfy desire will eventually get bored again.”

He called adultery a major sin in Islam, reminding viewers that “God made only one Eve for Adam,” and explained that the allowance for four marriages was meant for exceptional situations, not as a licence for polygamy or “womanising.”

Abbasi also reflected on growing up around independent women, crediting his mother, a Supreme Court lawyer, and his wife, Naimal Khawar, an entrepreneur, for shaping his perspective.

“Working women are a strength for men,” he said. “Men should view them as a safety net, not a threat.”

The actor, who recently released his second book Meri Daryafat: Allah, Islam Aur Akhrat Ki Justaju Main, continues to share his evolving spiritual journey and moral reflections publicly.
