Researchers say the innovation will enable divers and scientists to plant coral fragments faster and more safely, cutting loss rates and boosting the efficiency of restoration operations.

According to the project team, SeaTak demonstrates how nature can inspire practical environmental solutions, combining scientific innovation with sustainable marine practices.

The initiative is expected to accelerate coral reef recovery and support the UAE’s blue economy goals by preserving marine biodiversity for future generations.
