&lt;p&gt;According to the sources, Saleem Khan submitted his resignation to Supreme Court Chief Justice Yahya Afridi.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Saleem Khan, who was on a 45-day leave, had temporarily handed over his responsibilities to District and Sessions Judge Fakhar Zaman, who is currently serving as acting registrar.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He was appointed as Registrar of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in November 2024 for a three-year term, replacing former registrar Jazila Aslam.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;On the occasion of his departure, Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and other judges presented a commemorative shield to Saleem Khan in recognition of his services.&lt;/p&gt;
