      <title>PTI’s Khurram Zeeshan wins Senate by-election in KP Assembly</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Khurram Zeeshan was elected senator on the vacant seat from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, securing 91 votes in the by-election held on Thursday.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;His rival, opposition-backed candidate Taj Muhammad Afridi, received 45 votes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All 92 members of the PTI-led treasury benches in the provincial assembly participated in the voting process, while 45 out of 53 opposition lawmakers cast their ballots.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Awami National Party (ANP) had boycotted the Senate by-election, and its four members did not cast their votes.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;From the treasury side, PTI MPA Nadia Sher did not cast her vote.&lt;/p&gt;
