The singer said emotions were running high as he clashed with the doula, which also caused stress for Hailey Bieber during the birth.

Justin, 31, shared that there was friction between their doula and nurse at the hospital, and he ended up clashing with the doula, too.

“A lot was going on,” he explained. “The nurse and the doula weren’t getting along, and then I started butting heads with the doula as well.

I was extremely emotional. It was one of the biggest moments of my life.“

Justin admitted the tension made Hailey anxious, and she encouraged him to smooth things over.

“She told me I needed to apologise and clear the air,” he recalled.

“I apologised because my emotions were high. I just didn’t want it to take away from my moment as a dad, I wanted to be present too.”

He added that becoming a father triggered an instinct to support Hailey, but at times he felt pushed aside.

“You want to be there and help, and it all just becomes overwhelming,” he said.
