According to sources, an e-challan has been issued to the official vehicle of the DIG Traffic after his driver was found violating traffic rules.

According to police officials, the violation occurred while the vehicle was descending from the Lyari Expressway towards the Garden Interchange.

DIG Traffic Police DIG Traffic Pir Muhammad Shah was not in the car at the time of the challan.

Pir Muhammad Shah said the challan was issued because the driver failed to fasten his seatbelt.

He added that the fine amounted to Rs10,000 has been imposed and confirmed that he was not present in the vehicle at the time of the violation.
