Rumours regarding the couple’s relationship had been spreading on social media for a few days.

In a discussion on the Zawiya podcast, Farah responded to a fan’s inquiry regarding her use of the name “Farah Yousaf” on her social media profiles.

Farah openly discussed her identity, stating, “A lot of individuals recognise me by my father’s name, and I take pride in that.” The name ‘Yousaf’ alongside mine honours my father, and no bond is more precious than that between a father and child.

Occasionally, I consider putting ‘Farah Yousaf’ instead of ‘Farah Iqrar’ in my biography.

She mentioned that several of her older social media accounts continue to show her former name because of verification limitations.

Rejecting the separation rumours, Farah remarked, “There is no separation; people create their own stories.“

“I cherish both names deeply and consider them my own.”
