      <title>PM invites Polish firms to invest in Pakistan’s energy, mining and IT sectors</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday invited Polish companies to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan, particularly in the energy, mining, and information technology sectors, during a meeting with Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski at the Prime Minister’s House.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Poland Sami Malik also attended the meeting, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The prime minister underlined Pakistan’s desire to further expand bilateral cooperation in trade, energy, defence, education, labour, and other areas of mutual interest.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He noted that Pakistan and Poland had enjoyed cordial relations spanning several decades, and lauded Poland’s industrial development and modernisation since the 1970s.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Both leaders also discussed regional and international developments, including peace efforts in the Middle East and Ukraine.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;PM Shehbaz emphasised the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for the peaceful resolution of disputes and reaffirmed Pakistan’s consistent stance on upholding international law, humanitarian principles, and the UN Charter.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The prime minister conveyed warm regards to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and extended an invitation for an official visit to Pakistan at his earliest convenience.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;He said Pakistan could also benefit from Polish expertise in water treatment technologies, and praised Islamabad’s efforts for promoting regional peace and stability.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Both sides agreed to enhance contacts and cooperation to further strengthen bilateral ties.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier, the visiting Polish dignitary held detailed talks at the Foreign Office with Ishaq Dar, signed two memorandums of understanding (MoUs), and addressed a session at a local think tank in Islamabad.&lt;/p&gt;
