Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Poland Sami Malik also attended the meeting, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.

The prime minister underlined Pakistan’s desire to further expand bilateral cooperation in trade, energy, defence, education, labour, and other areas of mutual interest.

He noted that Pakistan and Poland had enjoyed cordial relations spanning several decades, and lauded Poland’s industrial development and modernisation since the 1970s.

Both leaders also discussed regional and international developments, including peace efforts in the Middle East and Ukraine.

PM Shehbaz emphasised the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for the peaceful resolution of disputes and reaffirmed Pakistan’s consistent stance on upholding international law, humanitarian principles, and the UN Charter.

The prime minister conveyed warm regards to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and extended an invitation for an official visit to Pakistan at his earliest convenience.

The Polish deputy premier expressed his country’s keen interest in deepening engagement with Pakistan across diverse sectors, highlighting that Polish investment in Pakistan’s petrochemical sector already exceeded $500 million.

He said Pakistan could also benefit from Polish expertise in water treatment technologies, and praised Islamabad’s efforts for promoting regional peace and stability.

Both sides agreed to enhance contacts and cooperation to further strengthen bilateral ties.

Earlier, the visiting Polish dignitary held detailed talks at the Foreign Office with Ishaq Dar, signed two memorandums of understanding (MoUs), and addressed a session at a local think tank in Islamabad.
