The report revealed that 99.7% of these videos were removed proactively, with 96.2% taken down within 24 hours of being posted, underscoring TikTok’s commitment to maintaining a safe and positive digital environment for users in Pakistan.

Covering data from April to June 2025, the report details TikTok’s proactive measures to identify and remove content that breached its community standards, ensuring a secure, inclusive, and trustworthy user experience.

Globally, TikTok removed 189,578,228 videos — roughly 0.7% of all content uploaded during the quarter. Of these, 163,962,241 videos were detected and deleted using automated technologies, while 7,457,309 were reinstated following review.

The platform’s proactive removal rate stood at 99.1%, with 94.4% of flagged content removed within 24 hours.

To preserve platform integrity, TikTok also deleted 76,991,660 fake accounts and another 25,904,708 accounts suspected of belonging to users under the age of 13.

According to the report, 30.6% of globally removed videos contained sensitive or mature themes inconsistent with TikTok’s policies.

Additionally, 14.0% violated safety and civility standards, 6.1% breached privacy and security guidelines, 45.0% were flagged for misinformation, and 23.8% were identified as edited or AI-generated media.

TikTok said its regular Community Guidelines Enforcement Reports reflect its commitment to transparency and accountability, offering detailed insights into content moderation trends and account enforcement actions worldwide.
