&lt;p&gt;According to sources, Pakistan’s white-ball head coach, Mike Hesson, has written a formal letter to the PCB Chairman, recommending a final decision on the ODI captaincy.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Shaheen Shah Afridi has emerged as the strongest contender for the ODI captaincy, while Babar Azam and Agha Salman are also under consideration, sources said.&lt;/p&gt;
