&lt;p&gt;According to the Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake measured 5.6 on the Richter scale at a depth of 120 kilometres, with its epicentre located in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The quake was felt in Swat, Lower Dir, Chitral, Buner, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, and Torghar, as well as in the federal capital, Islamabad.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tremors lasted several seconds, prompting residents in some areas to rush out of homes and offices.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorities said they were monitoring the situation, but no major losses had been reported so far.&lt;/p&gt;
