      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday held a telephonic conversation with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and congratulated him on his election as the provincial chief executive.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During the conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz extended his best wishes to Afridi and said the federal government was ready to work in coordination with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in the best interest of Pakistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier, speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi vowed that he would not disappoint his supporters, adding that he had been chosen by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder for the top post.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Afridi emphasised the need for discipline and patience, urging party members to await their leader’s instructions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“We are a political party, and we will ensure the release of our party founder through constitutional and legal means,” Afridi said.&lt;/p&gt;
