&lt;p&gt;The signing ceremony took place in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, co-chaired by President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Leaders and representatives from 28 countries and three international organizations attended the event, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who represented Pakistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;President Trump described the accord as “a historic day for the people of Gaza”, adding that the peace deal would help establish stability and hope in the region.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Trump said that the peace accord is a breakthrough and a new dawn for the Middle East.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“This success was made possible through the cooperation of our friends, particularly Egypt, whose role in facilitating this peace has been remarkable.”&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Before the summit, President Trump arrived in Egypt, where he was received at the airport by President el-Sisi.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The two leaders held a bilateral meeting before the ceremony, during which Trump lauded Egypt’s diplomatic efforts and noted that Iran had also expressed support for the peace initiative, calling it a positive sign for the broader region.&lt;/p&gt;
