According to official sources, the prime minister briefed Nawaz Sharif in detail about his recent visit to Malaysia and conveyed the goodwill message of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

The prime minister said that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Malaysia — particularly economic cooperation — were reaching new heights.

He also briefed Nawaz Sharif on his upcoming visit to Egypt.

The meeting also discussed the recent cross-border aggression from Afghanistan. The participants paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces for their effective and robust response to Afghan provocations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz reaffirmed that the entire nation stands united with the armed forces in the defence of the country.
