The Group met at the Parliament House under the chairmanship of Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony and Convener of the Group, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf.

Members underscored the significance of inter-parliamentary collaboration, noting that the forum serves as a vital channel for building institutional linkages and fostering people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

In his remarks, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf warmly welcomed the visiting Saudi parliamentary delegation, stressing that the people of Pakistan hold Saudi Arabia in the highest esteem.

He lauded Saudi Vision 2030 as a forward-looking model of modernisation and reform that harmonises faith, tradition, and innovation.

Chairing the meeting from the Saudi side, Eng Khaled Abdullah Al Buraik called for regular parliamentary exchanges to expand cooperation and promote institutional ties.

He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to deepening collaboration with Pakistan in areas including defence, regional stability, trade, investment, technology, renewable energy, and parliamentary affairs.
