In its weather update on Sunday, the PMD said Karachi is likely to experience cloudy and humid conditions throughout the day, with chances of drizzle in some areas.

As of Sunday morning, the city’s temperature was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels hovering around 75 per cent.

Winds were blowing in from the southwest at speeds of 11 kilometres per hour.

Meteorologists expect the daytime temperature to rise to between 32 and 34°C, but no significant weather disruptions are anticipated.

Authorities have said that while the cyclone is being closely monitored, there is no immediate danger to the Pakistani coastline from the storm system at this time.
