Tropical Cyclone Shakti is currently moving in the Arabian Sea and is located approximately 700 kilometres south of Karachi, but poses no threat to Pakistan’s coastal areas, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said.

In its weather update on Sunday, the PMD said Karachi is likely to experience cloudy and humid conditions throughout the day, with chances of drizzle in some areas.

As of Sunday morning, the city’s temperature was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels hovering around 75 per cent.
