      <title>PM Shehbaz briefs Nawaz on Kashmir and foreign visits</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday met former prime minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and briefed him on his recent foreign visits.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The meeting, which was also attended by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, was held at the Jati Umra residence of the Sharif family.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz gave a detailed briefing on the current situation in Azad Kashmir and the success of recent negotiations with protesters.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The prime minister is scheduled to depart for a two-day official visit to Malaysia tomorrow (Sunday) at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim had also extended an invitation to Nawaz Sharif for a visit to Malaysia, but Nawaz politely declined, expressing his willingness to visit at a later, more suitable time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During them meeting, the PML-N leadership agreed to a ceasefire with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The prime minister briefed the party leader about recent foreign visits, the situation in Kashmir, the resolution of tensions, and the agreements reached.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Speaking on the occasion, Nawaz Sharif instructed the leadership to take Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s recent concerns seriously.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He stressed that Pakistan’s role in establishing peace in the Middle East has become crucial and that the Pakistan-Saudi agreement has elevated Pakistan’s international importance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Maryam Nawaz informed the meeting about the reasons behind the differences with the PPP.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif returned to Pakistan four days ago via a special flight from London after his health showed improvement.&lt;/p&gt;
