The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has decided to initiate a fresh investigation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan over the use of social media accounts, sources said on Wednesday.

According to officials, the agency has already served a questionnaire consisting of 21 questions to former prime minister Imran Khan.

Among the key queries, investigators have asked whether tweets issued from the official X account were made with his knowledge.

This is the third time the NCCIA has moved to question the PTI founder.
