In a statement, the premier stressed that a lasting peace between Palestinians and Israel is essential not only for the people directly affected but also for ensuring political and economic stability across the Middle East.

“President Trump is fully prepared to assist in this matter, and I appreciate his leadership in pursuing this cause,” PM Shehbaz said.

He expressed confidence that the implementation of the two-state solution would pave the way for durable peace in the region.

The prime minister also commended the efforts of Steve Witkoff, who played a key role in advancing the ceasefire initiative.

The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s longstanding support for the Palestinian cause, emphasising that sustainable peace can only be achieved through a just settlement rooted in the two-state framework.
