According to the PMD, isolated rainfall with hail is likely in upper parts of the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. Islamabad and its adjoining areas have a 40 percent chance of rain tonight, though daytime weather in the capital on Friday will remain hot and dry.

Punjab may also see rain at night, but overall hot and dry conditions will prevail during the day.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, gusty winds, thunderstorms, and hailstorms are expected in some areas tonight, with light rain forecast for upper districts.

Meanwhile, flood-hit areas of Sindh and Punjab are likely to experience hot and dry weather throughout the week.

Forecasters added that Balochistan will mostly remain dry, while Gilgit-Baltistan may receive showers. Kashmir is expected to remain dry despite cloud activity.

In Swat’s scenic Kalam valley, the first snowfall of the winter season blanketed the surrounding mountains, intensifying the chill at popular tourist spots such as Malam Jabba, Madian, Mankial, and Bahrain.

Heavy rainfall in Mingora and adjoining areas brought pleasant weather, though in some places rainwater accumulated on roads, disrupting traffic flow.

Despite the challenges, the fresh spell of rain and snow has already begun attracting tourists to Swat.

Officials confirmed that all major roads remain open, allowing visitors easy access to the picturesque valleys.
