      <title>KP earns record $1.9 million from trophy hunting permits auction</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wildlife Department has achieved a major success by generating record revenue of $1,913,842 through the auction of 39 trophy hunting permits for the 2025-26 season.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to official details, four exportable markhor permits fetched the highest amount, selling for $946,000.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Nine non-exportable markhor permits brought in $553,300, while 20 non-exportable ibex permits were auctioned for $16,042.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Additionally, six permits for the grey goral were sold for $398,500.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Wildlife, Peer Masoor Khan, said this was the first time a grey goral permit was introduced in the province, significantly boosting overall revenue.&lt;/p&gt;
