The new curricula are designed to enhance critical thinking, analytical skills, and exam preparedness, while aligning with OxfordAQA’s globally recognised standards.

Covering Pakistan’s history, geography, Islamic faith and traditions, along with the depth of Urdu language and literature, the syllabi integrate local context with global perspectives.

Arshad Saeed Husain, Managing Director, Oxford University Press Pakistan, highlighted the significance of the initiative: “Through this collaboration, Oxford University Press and AQA bring global expertise to Pakistani students, helping them build future-ready skills. OxfordAQA stands for fairness, transparency, and quality education, empowering learners to succeed on the world stage.”

Salma Adil, Director OxfordAQA Pakistan, added that assessments and textbooks for these core subjects are now available: “This marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting schools across Pakistan with high-quality qualifications and resources that uphold both academic rigour and cultural relevance.”
