According to Sherani’s deputy commissioner, heavily armed assailants launched the attack late Tuesday night, causing significant damage to both police and Levies stations using heavy weaponry.

The communication systems of the stations were also destroyed during the assault.

Initial reports suggest that at least six personnel sustained injuries during the attack.

The injured have been shifted to medical facilities, and an emergency has been declared at the Civil Hospital in Zhob.

It should be noted that in the past, terrorists have targeted police stations in the Sherani district several times.
