The electric vehicles included in the scheme will feature models such as the Honri Ve 2.0 and Dongfeng Box, equipped with GPS systems, smart meters, and official e-taxi branding to ensure safe and reliable service for passengers.

Eligibility criteria for the E-Taxi scheme

The programme is open to all Punjab residents aged 18 and above, possessing a valid driving licence and a clean bank record.

The application process will begin in September 2025, with an online registration portal opening for interested candidates.
