Chairing a high-level meeting, the prime minister said a comprehensive package on electricity bills for flood victims would be finalised after ongoing discussions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

He also directed that bills already paid for August be adjusted in the next month’s statements.

Highlighting the scale of destruction, Shehbaz Sharif said the floods had displaced and affected millions of people nationwide.
