Wahab said in a video statement that he has issued the orders to fill potholes that appeared during the rains. He also emphasised addressing the traffic problems due to potholes.

“After the damages caused by the rains, KMC signed contracts under its annual repairing and maintenance scheme to repair the city’s roads,” he said.

He added that restoration work on 106 roads of the city will begin on Sunday.

The mayor further stated that development schemes for internal streets in various union councils will also be initiated. He assured that all possible steps will be taken to provide facilities to citizens.
